Mike Capizzi is the Dean of the Loyalty Academy. A 45+ year veteran of the Marketing Services industry with deep knowledge of the Loyalty Marketing space, Mike currently directs the curriculum at the Loyalty Academy and is a global workshop facilitator for the CLMP program. He has personally been involved in the design, operation, technical enablement and financial assessment of more than 80 loyalty programs over his career. Mike supports many marketing services firms in the loyalty and database area with strategic planning, marketing research projects, competitive analysis, new market and new product/service assessments. He is a noted advisor to private equity and investment analysts in investigating, understanding and profiling marketing services firms who represent potential investment opportunities.
Mike is a globally recognized professional in the loyalty arena and a partner in the Wise Marketer Group. He is a Certified Loyalty Marketing Professional™ (CLMP) and is regarded as the most accomplished educational professional in the loyalty industry – over 1,150 students, in more than 20 countries, in-person and on-line, author, speaker, thought leader plus a former member of the adjunct faculty in Marketing at five different US universities. He is an original faculty member of the Oxford University (UK) Loyalty Marketing Workshop for professionals and is an active member in the Customer Strategy Network. He is a frequent editorial and research contributor to The Wise Marketer and is the principal author of the annual Delphi Panel reports on the loyalty industry.
He holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati and an MA in Media from New York University.
